Genuine Culture LLC and The Wistariahurst are proud to present Planet of Vibez: A Jazz & Hip-Hop Tribute to Digable Planets

Planet of vibez will showcase the musical and spiritual connection between the genre of Jazz and Hip-Hop culture through the dynamic music of Digable Planets and the Jazz greats that influenced them, such as Sonny Rollins, Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers and Lonnie Liston Smith.

This Live event will feature the artistic Jazz crew “The Collective Consciousness” featuring band leader Jovan Alexandre who is an emerging tenor sax sensation in the new renaissance of the Jazz world.

Western Massachusetts own DJ Rec (NEPR Media Lab; Genuine Culture LLC; Humble Monarch Sound Platoon) will be on the turntables to play a special set of rare grooves, original samples and the classics from Digable Planets that we all love.

Please Join us at the beautiful historic grounds of Wistariahurst for an epic evening of great music and positive vibez.
