Poetry at The Care Center and Wistariahurst Museum cordially invites you to join us for a lovely hour of poetry and discussion with New York Times best selling collection of poems and award-winning writer, Ocean Vuong, and his latest work, “Time Is A Mother.”
Ocean Vuong is a highly acclaimed author known for his bestselling poetry collection, “Time is a Mother,” and the novel “On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous,” which has been translated into 37 languages. He received a 2019 MacArthur “Genius” Grant and is also recognized for his poetry collection “Night Sky with Exit Wounds,” which earned him numerous awards, including the T.S. Eliot Prize and the Whiting Award. Vuong’s work has been featured in prominent publications such as The New York Times, The New Yorker, and The Paris Review. He has received fellowships from various foundations, including the Lannan Foundation and the Civitella Ranieri Foundation. Vuong is a tenured Professor in the Creative Writing MFA Program at NYU and resides in Northampton, Massachusetts.
