Sunday February 21, 2016 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Allerton Kilborne, the last living Skinner descendant to have resided at the historic estate, returns this winter with a talk and tour. Mr. Kilborne will bring the past alive as he shares his memories of living at Wistariahurst with his grandmother, Katharine Skinner Kilborne, and a full time staff. An historian himself, Mr. Kilborne weaves his personal memories into the broader narrative of Holyoke. Mr. Kilborne will lead a tour of the house, including more of his own memories and anecdotes, following his talk.
The event, which will offer a lively mix of Holyoke history and personal memories, is open to the public. Tickets are $15 or $10 for Museum members.
