Cemetery Tour | October 14th, 2023

Guests in small groups will be lead along the meandering pathways of beautiful Forestdale Cemetery.  Costumed characters will embody the spirits and souls of some of Holyoke’s remarkable citizens and tell their stories.  Monuments, Markers, Crypts and Crosses are but a few of the sights you will see on this insightful walk while learning about some facts of death and dying in the 19th century.  Tour is approximately 1 hour and take place on uneven ground at times. We will gather at the Entrance to Forestdale Cemetery at the corner of Sycamore and Pleasant Streets. On-street parking is available along Sycamore Street.
Reservations are required.

You will be notified by email by 2pm on Friday if Saturday’s tours are cancelled due to inclement weather. In the event of rain, tickets can be applied to another October event hosted by Wistariahurst or your purchase will be refunded.
