All forms will be reviewed and evaluated by Wistariahurst staff. If selected, Wistariahurst will provide the following to support your exhibit:
One press release sent to Wistariahurst’s press contact list
One social media post to our Instagram and Facebook
One Eventbrite event created (if the event organizer does not handle their own ticketing)
Posting the event on the following websites/ community calendars:
-Hartford Courant
-Daily Hampshire Gazette/ Valley Advocate
-Valley Arts Newsletter (if arts event)
-Explore Holyoke
-Bloom Local
-Valley Creates
Wistariahurst will provide the museum space for an opening reception and open gallery hours Mondays (10:00am - 2:00pm) and Tuesdays (4:30 - 6:30pm)
Providing at least (1) volunteer to oversee the exhibit. The volunteer will keep guests from wandering, direct them to facilities, and open/ close the museum. Volunteer(s) will staff the exhibit during its opening and gallery hours.
Providing necessary tables, chairs, and tablecloths during the opening reception
By completing this form, you understand that you are responsible for the following, if your exhibit is selected:
Hanging and installing artwork during scheduled installation times
Promoting their exhibit to your network
Being present for the opening reception and any events relating to the exhibit
Picking up unsold artwork promptly after the exhibit has closed *Any artwork not picked up 6 months after the exhibit will be considered abandoned property.
Providing a price list/ exhibit book for artwork on sale at least two weeks prior to the opening reception
Providing proposals for any accompanying events that correspond with the exhibit (if any)
Signed short term loan agreement
Signed Gallery Exhibit Guidelines Agreement
This form is not equivalent to booking an art exhibit. This form serves as an inquiry that a member of Wistariahurst's staff will tend to in a timely fashion. Wistariahurst looks forward to getting back to you so we can help facilitate your exhibit within our capacity.
