Dino Day

Dino Day at Wistariahurst is part of a collaborative project: Dino Trail Week. Dino Trail Week brings dinosaur themed educational events to museums and organizations throughout the Connecticut River Valley during one week in July. 2026 was the second annual Dino Trail Week.

2026 Dino Trail partners included Piti Theatre, Pocumtuck Valley Memorial
Association, the Beneski Museum of Natural History, Springfield Museums, Wistariahurst Museum, Great Falls Discovery Center, Jurassic Roadshow, Dinosaur State Park, and The Trustees of Reservations’ Dinosaur Footprints in Holyoke.

These organizations offered a series of family-friendly events to engage people of all ages with our region’s unique dinos and local history.
